ABOUT THE ARTIST

Rolf Ziegler (Bern 1955 – Zug 2010) originally came from figurative painting. The autodidact – working as a freelance artist since 1983 – found an abstract language of forms, using a mix of painting, airbrush and graphic techniques, resulting in a unique style, distinctive and striking. It made him popular in professional circles and garnered wide acclaim from the audience. His works were exhibited all over Switzerland, Germany and the USA.
